Warpath Series #3 - A New Path Forward

How do we view this warrior lifestyle? This path we’ve chosen, where we stand apart? We’re not like the rest. We don’t live like other men do. We don’t indulge in what the world calls normal. We don’t sit back and consume whatever’s on TV, we don’t get lost in pornography, we don’t chase after cheap thrills with “Hey baby” moments. That’s not us anymore. Because we’re warriors.

And warriors live by a different code.

Right now, we’re standing in an airplane hangar for this video series, surrounded by the machines that carried men into battle. The men and women who flew these planes had to discipline themselves. They had to wake up early. They had to endure instructors they didn’t like, push through years of grueling training, and commit to a standard of excellence. Some of them resented that structure at times, feeling the weight of the sacrifice. Others embraced it, grew stronger through it, and walked away with a deep sense of honor and purpose.

That’s the journey we’re on. A lifestyle of discipline, yes—but also of freedom. Because when you surrender to this higher calling, you’re not just avoiding something—you’re stepping into something greater.

You and your sexuality are no longer enemies. You’re no longer trapped in cycles of shame, fear, or guilt. You are free. Free to engage in intimacy the way it was designed to be—without distortion, without regret.

It takes me back to Genesis 2:25: “Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.” That’s God’s plan. That’s real freedom. To be spiritually, emotionally, and sexually connected with your spouse in a way that is pure, whole, and deeply fulfilling.

So don’t just endure this path—embrace it. Lean into it. Let it shape you into the warrior you were meant to be. Because this isn’t about what we don’t do—it’s about who we become in the process.
