How A Seductress Thinks

Now we are going to delve deeper into the seductress mind-set.  Knowing what she says to the man whom she is victimizing is priceless because it informs you of her true heart.

I have fellowship offerings at home; today I fulfilled my vows. -Proverbs 7:14

She is spiritual! This spiritual side of her is tricky. She might say she believes in God as a way to disarm you that she is a good woman. Here is where you could ask yourself, “Why is this good woman wanting me to move toward her (especially if I am married man)?” In counseling, I have a phrase I give to my clients and that is “Believe Behavior”. Her behavior is saying “Come have a private relationship with me”. Her wounds might be religious or spiritual but be wise and evaluate her behavior. She makes reference to fulfilling a religious vow. According to Leviticus 7:12-16, such fellowship offerings were to be eaten by family members. A man may think, “Why turn down a free meal with an attractive lady who is fascinated by me?”

The meal may seem innocent or religious, but it’s not. She is luring and seducing him to her place. This would be comparable to a woman saying, “Come over the day after Thanksgiving, my husband and kids are gone.” Better yet, “We had a prayer meeting last night and I’ve got some leftover food. Wouldn’t you like a tasty snack?” If you think this sounds ridiculous, let me assure you I personally know of men falling for lines weaker than this.

Be sure to stand strong for your principles and against the seductress. Do not waver. Believe her behavior, not just her words.
